5:45 AM . . . ready to go to the airport!
This is our first ever family vacation and we are headed to Treasure Island, Florida!!!
Drew's very first plane ride!
Dylan's very first plane ride!
Hooray! We made it to Florida and first thing we did was hit the beach!
Dylan enjoyed playing (and eating) the sand.
Drew was excited to dig up shells, make sandcastles and play in the sand.
In the mornings we took walks down to the big bridge.
Dylan loving the fountains at the pool.
Drew and Daddy taking a rest from a visit to John's Pass
Dylan taking a rest too!
On Tuesday we went to the Tampa Zoo.The Zoo had many animals and rides.
Dylan in front of the tigers
Drew checking up the birds up close.
(Some of them would come sit on your arm or shoulder but fortunately they knew
better to do that with Drew and Mommy)
Carousel Ride
To our surprise (as we held our breath) Drew loved going on this ride!
He even went on it twice!
Checking out the penguins.
All the action was a lot for Dylan so he took a well deserved nap.
Yes, that's right, that is Drew riding on a camel!
This kid had NO fear on this trip!
Dylan thought watching Drew on the camel was funny!
Back at the hotel a view from our balcony.
Dylan's first time in a pool and he loves it!
The brothers loved playing together!
The very smart Dylan knows just what to do on a beach . . . nap, nap, nap!
Surfer Drew
Building a big sand mountain and standing in a big hole, what more could a 3 year old want!
Awake from napping and ready to work on his tan.
On Thursday we visited the Tampa Aquarium . . .
Dylan in front of the stingrays
Drew in awe of the sharks.
Yes, the fish/shark in the background are real!!
Back at the hotel, Drew must have been missing his school friends because he was Dylan's best buddy!
Drew and Mommy's photo session . . .
Back at the pool. My new swim goggles helped me when Daddy was teaching me to swim.
Our last night in Florida . . . after dinner sunset photos . . .
Thanks for indulging us by looking at ALL the photos. Mommy just couldn't stop taking pictures!
